Ukukwakha uzinzo phakathi komsebenzi kwanobuNozala PDF  | Print |  E-mail
Umsebenzi kungenjalo abantwana yingxaki endala kwabaseTyhini. Lo gama uluntu lujonge ukuba abaseTyhini babe nabantwana, kwa aba bantwana babonwa njengabangalunganga kwinkqubela phambili yabaseTyhini emsebenzini. Uninzi lwabaseTyhini luthabatha ikhefu xa abantwana babo bokuqala beza kuzalwa. Esi sigqibo sidla ngokusekelezelwa ekubeni, kungaba lula ukuba ashiye umsebenzi ukuze ajongane nobuNozala. Aba baseTyhini badla ngokufumanisa ukuba izigqibo zabo zibe yimpazamo.

UBongiwe Ndlovu nongumpheki oziqashileyo uthi, wayengenguye umzali olungileyo kuba wayesoloko engonelisekanga. “Kufuneka ukwazi ukulinganisa ithuba lomsebenzi nelokuba ngumama. Xa ndisebenza ngento endiyithandayo ndiyoneliseka, kwaye xa ndonelisekile ndiba ngumama olungileyo,” utshilo uNdlovu.

UNdlovu uthi, uphuma  kwisizukulwana esasikholelwa ukuba, yinto enganakwenzeka ukuba abaseTyhini bakhulise abantwana ze baphumelele nasemisebenzini. Obo bubuxoki utsho uNdlovu, kuxhomekeka ukuba ungumntu onjani na. Ngethuba wayefumana intombi yakhe, wayecinga ukuba akanakho ukuzenza zombini. “Kwakunzima kakhulu, ndandikhangela eyona ndawo iyiyo yokugcina abantwana, kodwa ayikho eyayindonwabisa.”

UNdlovu uthi, ukuqala inkampani yakhe kwakuthetha ukuba angakwazi ukusebenza iiyure ezimlungeleyo, nokwamnika ithuba elaneleyo lokuhlala nentombi yakhe eminyaka mihlanu.  Kusekho umceli – mngeni ojongene noomama abaphangelayo, kodwa uNdlovu uthi kuxhomekeke kwabaseTyhini ukuwuchitha ngempumelelo yabo emsebenzi.

ULindie Engelbrecht oma 31 eminyaka ubudala,  nongowokuqala waseTyhini ukunikwa ithuba lentsebenziswano eKPMG uthi, “ukuba ngoomama abasebenzayo akusenzi zidenge okanye ukungakwazi ukukhuphisana. Ukusuka apho, ukuba ngumama kukwenza ube ngumsebenzi obhetele – ndingenza izinto eziliqela ngethuba, ndinovelwano olunzulu nabantu endisebenza nabo kwanabaxhomekeke kuthi ngeenkonzo, ndikwafunde nokubaqinisekisa abathengi njengokuba ndisoloko ndibakhumbuza abantwana bam ukuba, ndingumama kwaye abasokuze bayilibale loo nto,” utshilo.

UEngelbrecht uyintloko yequmrhu labaseTyhini eKPMG (KPMG Network of Women - Know) yaye ungumdisipele ozimisele kuzinzo emsebenzini. Uzimisele kumsebenzi wakhe kwanakubantwana bakhe.
“Ithuba elininzi kunzima ukuqoqosha ze ushiye iofisi kwanomsebenzi ngentsimbi yokuqala emva kwemini. Kodwa emva kwentsimbi yokuqala, lelona thuba ndilichitha nabantwana bam, yaye akukho namnye ongalithabathayo elo thuba kum. Xa ndisemsebenzini, ndifumanisa ukuba ndenza umsebenzi omninzi kakhulu ngethuba lakusasa, xa ndithelekisa nendandikwenza ngosuku ngethuba elingaphambili.” UEngelbrecht ukhumbula ukuba iminyaka yokuqala yonyana wakhe yayinzima ngeyona ndlela.

Xa ebuzwa ukuba ubomi bakhe bebungabhetele na xa bekukho indawo yokugcina abantwana emsebenzini wakhe, uphendula athi: “Ewe ndicinga ukuba izinto bezingasayi kufana kuba, bendizakuhlala ndinoxolo engqondweni yam yaye bendiza kushiya unyana wam kwindawo leyo yokugcina abantwana ze ndisebenze into ebonakalayo.”
“Ndicinga ukuba indawo yokugcina abantwana emsebenzini lelona cebo libalulekileyo xa unomntwana omncinci ukwafuna nokusebenza.”

 “Nangona kunjalo ibingenakuguqula ingqondo yam ngezicwangciso endinazo. Ndiyakuthanda ukuchitha ixesha nabantwana bam emvakwemini, yaye andinakuze ndiyiyeke leyo.”
