Speaker:    Talitha (Open Doors)
Talitha is a survivor of abuse.

She assures listeners (women and children) that there is a place to get help for abused people.  Talitha was married for 18 years and didn’t know that she was being abused.

She describes the place that she is in at the moment were people actually care for people.  She relates her incident of being abused and beaten by her husband.  Only now she realises that she was not the one with the problem – he was. Everybody has the right to say what they feel.  If you are ‘shut up’ with a fist then there is a problem.  This is unacceptable especially by the person you love and married.

Women today are successful  They should obey and honour their husbands but not when their husbands are wrong.  Her daughters ran away from home and she was forced to send her sons away.

She encourages people to seek God who will open the doors for you.  Talitha is now at Open Doors which she feels God has directed her to.

She has no regrets for making this decision.
